Objective :
The Keio Medical Science Prize gives recognition to the outstanding and creative achievements of researchers in the field of the medical and life sciences, in particular those contributing to scientific developments in medicine. It aims to promote worldwide advances in life sciences and medicine, to encourage the expansion of researcher networks throughout the world, and to contribute to the well-being of humankind.

Basic medicine, clinical medicine, or life sciences closely related to medicine
Prize :
Each laureate receives a certificate of merit, medal, and a monetary award of 10 million yen, this year.
Ceremony :
The award ceremony is scheduled to be held in November, 2010 at the School of Medicine, Shinanomachi Campus, Keio University, Tokyo, Japan.
Eligibility :
Nominees must be currently active in their field of research, and be expected to make future contributions to the field. The Keio Medical Science Prize is an international award.
Deadline :
Nominations must reach the Office of Keio University Medical Science Fund by noon, 23 March 2010(Japan local time). Please refer to the guidelines for more details.
